Why We Built This Site
Michigan court rules make most court records public, but Macomb splits the work across several offices. The Macomb County Clerk / Register of Deeds (Anthony G. Forlini) serves as Clerk of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court and handles vital records, the Register of Deeds, elections, and jury service. The Probate Court has its own Probate Register. Each district court has its own clerk. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office (Sheriff Anthony M. Wickersham) runs the jail roster, JailTracker, and bond posting. State systems including Michigan DOC OTIS, the Michigan State Police, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry handle records the county does not hold. This site pulls the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of those offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
